- ≈15 columns of different sizes, running for 6–10 years
A partner science museum in Sochi is our longest real-world test. About 15 plasma columns of different sizes have been running here for 6–10 years.
The columns are switched on several times a day and touched by hundreds of visitors daily — and over these years they have not changed: the same colour, the same character of the discharge.
It is the best answer to the question of how long a plasma column lasts when it is used properly.
