- A plasma tube built into the stage set
For the ballet “Tesla” at the Musa Jalil Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre we built a plasma tube into the main stage set — a giant generator hanging above the stage.
In a performance about the life of Nikola Tesla, living plasma became part of the story: a real discharge glows next to the dancers throughout the scene.
The premiere took place in November 2024 at the #StagePlatforma contemporary dance festival in Kazan. Music by Elmir Nizamov, choreography by Oleg Gabyshev, set design by Elisey Shepelev.
